Pretty Amazing Friends

I have said in previous posts how fortunate that I am to have such an amazing group of friends.  Without my asking, they have pulled together and helped with the project.  I am constantly in awe of these fine women, and hope someday to be worthy of their friendship.

The following necklaces were all made by my friend Susan.  She has incredible taste, as you will see with the necklaces, and is very generous with her time as well as her beads.

THANK YOU SUSAN, you're the best!

She does terrific work, doesn't she?
That's 23 necklaces for us to add to the project, such a wonderful gift!

No More Hungry Kids!

We have received some new donated beads, and we can't wait to show you what we've made with them.  There are resin beads in several of the necklaces, and the best news with that is that they are lightweight, despite their size.  A big "Thank You!" for the donation (who wished to remain annonymous), we couldn't make such amazing pieces without your help!

As the pile of necklaces grows, it's hard to not be super excited about this journey we're on.  We're that much closer to helping some hungry kids get some much deserved food.  It takes a bead village...
